Timbuktu Schools Network is an initiative designed to help provide free or affordable computers, particularly laptops and tablets to schools in Africa. Free to the many who can’t afford it and subsidized/affordable to those that can.
Project Hope
Our program in the violence ridden parts of Northern Nigeria where hundreds of thousands of school children have been displaced and many orphaned. Now with the United States government bringing attention to the genocide going on the Northern part of the country, we are making efforts to help the children.

Our work has primarily been in West Africa. The average student in those countries and most of Africa can barely afford to buy textbooks for schools, talkless of a computer.

How it Works

We accept laptops, PC computers and tablets in any condition.
We Refurbish
We destroy all previous data from the computer and repair and refurbish them.
They Learn
They are shipped and on arrival at their destination - they are sent to schools.

We are asking that you donate to these schools/students your old, broken, unused or non working computers especially tablets and laptops (as these are easier and cheaper to ship) OR sell them to us as the case may be.
Your donations are tax deductible.
We also have a program where individuals and organizations donating in large quantities can have the donations presented in their names and/or have buildings/programs and in some instances the school named after them.
